If it didn't shit it wouldn't have lost the mass to fit through the bars.

I was just offered 4 more permanent hours at work! It may not sound like much, but this will be enough that my partner and I can rent a house, get married, and expand his business. (As well as getting a jump-start on mine.)

YAY!

Unfortunately, because this accelerates all my projects and plans, I'll have less time to spend here on you all. So enjoy the bad poetry and emotional pleas resulting from my vast amounts of free time while you can!

(For those trembling with fear, I will still remain around, just in a smaller, much happier capacity.)

That's what I said when I went off to grad school. Now look at me. Still here.

Maybe I'm doing grad school wrong.

Maybe. Is your grad school degree in arguing with people on the internets? If so, you're doing it right.

And I suspect I'll have a very hard time pulling myself away. I totes belong here.

It's my birthday.

Went to an unrelated party at a friend's house, but had a pretty good time with everyone and lots of birthday hugs.

3D Printer is in shipping.

This is gonna be fun. Maybe I should make some Sinfest inspired prints.

Well, I'm going to be getting a frosting decorater kit at some point and the holidays (Read: halloween) is coming up. It is dangerous to put me around sparkle sugar and sprinkles

Actually sat down and watched a movie. Well, not exactly a movie. It's 'The Cat Returns', a Studio Ghibli film of a girl who saved a cat and got into a heck of adventure. Very nice film.

PrintrBot LC v2, 6x6x6" printing area, with a heated print bed, unassembled.

I can't wait for it to arrive.
Also, the drones would be perfect. I'd probably print the wings separately though and make them fit into holes in the body. Would be an easy and fun calibration piece/paper weight.

That's awesome!

My lab has one, and while I haven't gotten to play with it, I have seen it in action.
