Personally I prefer the vibrating bust of Sigmund Freud.

Silliness aside, SQUEE:

Printing out a 5mm calibration cube.

Finished 10mm combo wrench and 5mm calibration cube.

Prints turned out wayyyy better than I thought they would (given they were first prints and I wasn't sure about calibration/temperature/print speeds/etc), and in hot pink ABS plastic, to boot. I need to dial up the bed temp a bit to prevent the ABS from unsticking and curling up, but other than that I'm thinking this is pretty fucking awesome. Currently trawling around Thingiverse and trying to decide what to print next.

Also, on the 3D-Printed-Gun note, I bought it and had it shipped to the US, then picked it up and drove it across the border to save on the insane international shipping prices, and the border guards asked me what I was going to print, and specifically asked if I was going to print guns. Of course I said no (I don't intend to either - it's a felony in Canada, even if it's for personal use), but I had kind of expected that question and some raised eyebrows.

But really, if there doesn't come a day that you spend just printing out dicks, then you are a stronger person than I am.

I'd much rather print out breasts...

what choice of materials does one have with 3d printers are they all of the same...firmness?

I'm sure you are aware, but some of the printing materials with these printers can release tiny nano particles into the air during the print. I don't think ABS is one of them, but I'm not sure. Either way, I'd be sure to have proper ventilation during the process.

Grilled some peaches with a honey/balsamic vinegar sauce and put them in vanilla yogurt for dessert.

Yep.

You're pretty much limited to hard thermoplastics. ABS and PLA are the two most popular, and some types of nylon can be used. No squishy boobs for you. But at least you can make a vibrating bust.

If by "sudden rise" you mean somebody made one and uploaded a test firing of it to the internet.
