work has done something completely shitty (like, shitty enough that it makes me never want to be here ever) and any time i complain i get blamed for all my own problems because of my 'attitude'.

We are having extreme cost saving measures at work that, if it doesn't improve, will result in at least a 10% layoff.

Got an email this morning saying that the unit is sponsoring a massage therapist to come in and give free 10 minute massages to employees.

We're having similar issues; our budget has been cut by 17%. This is after a pretty hefty cut last year too. Last year they tried to handle the cut mostly through attrition (not replacing people who retire/quit, encouraging early retirement, having people who get notices go to underserved regions, etc.) I can only assume that this bigger cut will mean layoffs. Seeing as I've got a whopping 9 months seniority, I worry a bit about my job (though since I'm bilingual, have had 2 letters of recommendation and a large coke seizure, I think I'm fairly safe.) I think several of my fellow hires might be at risk though (and possibly me as well.)

People want services but don't want to pay for them, I guess. =\

My apartment looks like a bachelor lives here. I need the management people to want to come do an inspection, or maintenance to come fix something, or have someone who suddenly needs to crash here for a night so I have a reason to clean...
