I personally enjoy IVs. Usually because I am dehydrated by the time I get to the hospital and it feels awesome.

I've had similar experiences when I get migraine severe enough to go to the ER. After a few days of pain and vomiting getting a few liters of fluid does me as much good as any of the medication I'm given there.

ditto on this too, ever since I was a little kid I've always had trouble not falling asleep at the dentist.

Plus you get that sweet, sweet IV high.

What sweet IV high? I felt all the double vision of drunk without feeling good at all. It sucked. So much.

Well, in a way, we all are. Surely you've noticed, Finn: life is a sexually transmitted, terminal disease.

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy

He hath bore me upon his back a thousand times! ... [more immortal words that even now burn brightly through the centuries] ... and, then...everyone dies.

Saturday night I had two separate dreams that involved me struggling to breathe. One I was climbing a laddery type bridge thing, it kept going from bridge to super steep climb, so I had to stop to catch my breath but I couldn't. The second I was in a cave, suddenly a water fall went along the mouth of the cave and filled the room with mist while vacuuming out the air and I had to struggle to breathe.

Those are strange enough as is.

Last night I was laying there and think I found the cause of the dreams. For no discernible reason my throat closed on me for about 30 seconds. Not all the way, but it constricted enough to where I was gasping to pull in air.

It made me feel really safe about trying to sleep.

That sounds an awful lot like sleep apnea and, unfortunately, something work getting checked out.

=\ Sorry, it sounds pretty awful.

Yeah, I have an appointment next week and the doc is calling me tonight.

It might also be related to my meds, I just don't know why it would take so long for any bad side effects.

Apparently there was one time several years ago that I stopped breathing while sleeping, and I guess my husband was awake. He usually reads for awhile and I just fall asleep. He shook me awake so fast. I rarely see him that scared. He certainly scared me too, but it hasn't happened again that I know of.

Massive skull splitting light sensitive head aches. To the point that standing up made me vomit.

"Hey did you need to do something productive tonight, bro? Too bad, here's some agony."

Made plans with a friend a week in advance. Texted today at around noon to solidify the time to meet up and I get a text back at 4 saying "sorry, in a completely different city today."

Could you at least warn me? Or how about not ignore me for four hours? Or something, I don't know.

Then as an encore I keep fucking up with a friend who doesn't pull that shit, so awesome, I suck too.
