The only thing I ever mentioned about getting flowers was that if he's planning on getting me some for whatever that it's nice to get them at work. It's a fun surprise, others get to see and enjoy them, and I dunno it's just nice to be reminded at work that someone loves ya. Wink

I never sent flowers, but I brought flowers a lot... I enjoy showing up with surprises, or hiding surprises to be found. One Valentines I decorated the outside of our front door so she'd see it when she came home. Spontaneity is my bag. You can't take it from me.

Wait, I did send flowers! And it was a total bust. They came in a brown cardboard box, wrapped in paper, with the vase packed inside and a little note telling you to put the flowers in the vase. That was the first and last time I sent flowers. Razz

Note to self: Open a floristry shop.

It doesn't really matter once you move. I stole a cat from a neighbor once. They probably don't like me much, but that's why we waited until moving day to steal their cat.

2nd note to self: Keep small pets away from Dogen.

That cat has a much better life now... in mah belly!

No, really, we were like kitty protective services swooping in and taking him out of an unsafe home. He lived a happy life with me for about three years, and now lives with my mom who dotes on him (he eats better than I do).

I used to get dudes flowers but they always acted weird about it so I stopped. =\

But yay kitty rescues. I don't think you'd want to steal either of my kitties, Dogen, they are both fat and happy (though you wouldn't know it with the racket they make at 4:30 in the morning to get fed).

My wife told me today that she is cultivating a deep hatred for me but hasn't said anything about it because we have to live with each other for a while yet.

Awesome.

Preeeeeetty sure that isn't what made them act weird, as I haven't cheated on anyone.

My wife and and I have an irreconcilable difference--she likes "hamburger buns" that are touted as being great for arugula paninis, while I like a plebian potato bun. Sometimes you can be together for a long time and still not really know someone.

There really isn't any win-win outcome to this. Arbitration is useless.
