My laptop (only computer) stopped working spontaneously this morning. No warning, the hard drive just no longer spins up. I can't afford to replace it, but I'll take it to the Apple dealer to see what it might cost to repair.

I feel like I'm doing nothing but fuck things up lately.

Stupid little shit all piling up and it's all still stupid and little and mostly unimportant in the long run but I don't even want to try for bigger things because if I keep fucking up the little stuff how can I possibly accomplish something bigger?

It will pass. I assume. Somehow knowing that doesn't help like it should.

Since I brought it before I wanted to mention that my grandmother passed away the friday of the hurricane. it was really a relieve for most of us, she was very ill and having lived in the jersey shoe with it's mandatory evacuation we're not sure what would have been done with her in her condition. Not to mention she would have hated an assisted care nursing home and the island she lived on spent several days pretty much underwater, so it's a blessing she didn't have to experience any of that.

As I explained to a friend on the phone a few days ago, and as is obvious, too, anything I post on here after 01:00 GMT is clearly fuelled by drama & booze. So never as bad / awesome / made out with triplets as it seems.

Still the police have been a TOTAL ARSE LEAK for the last few days, visiting daily, making weird insinuations, etc. Happily I'm very good at appearing to be a responsible citizen.
