I guess Slick agrees with those of you who think God's just being an ass. It's an alright strip, I guess. I tend to like the one's where God mocks the other characters to teach them. I was hoping we would still be on that.

also, what character always has a tie that is bent upwards like Slick's in panel 2? I don't think it is Slick, is it?

Man, Tat's really been updating the strip early lately.

God's only a prick to people that seem to think that God cares about their little pains.

As if God went out of his/her/its way to fuck with you, right.

I think it was pretty obvious that God did care about Slick's pains. It's just that instead of fixing all of his problems for him God tried to show Slick that he was being foolish (thinking he was incapable of change) in the hopes that Slick would realize his mistake and learn from it. That's what God is usually doing when he appear to be mocking non-devil characters with his puppets.

It's also one of the arguments some christians (and probably nonchristians give as to why God/god doesn't interact with the world).

Seymour looks... More childish in this comic to me for some reason. Probably just my imagination.

I'm sorry, are you saying that Slick is secretly Dilbert or what?

right, dilbert. no, I just couldn't remember what character had a tie like that I wasn't even sure if Slick was the character whose tie was sometimes bent upwards. so, no, definitely not saying that Slick is secretly Dilbert.

Seymour does seem oddly shorter in here, besides the whole kneeling thing. I think Tat is updating early because he really wants to get this storyline out here.

He could be on vacation and have an auto updater going as well.

and I still fucking hate Seymour. Little E should just kill him and end it.

No. God has fried the Devil at least once.

This strip amuses me.

i can't remember - has seymour ever interacted directly with god, the way slick and monique have? i don't think he has - so he's basing his opinion of god on his interpretation of the scriptures, rather than actually seeing the man (deity?) in action.

This strip came to mind, but when I looked it up, well, you can see there isn't really any real interaction taking place.
