I think we had this done at one point in the old forum.
I have an account on Red Hot Pawn
I will admit I am not very good at chess, but if anyone has an account or create one, you can challenge me.

I'll be your Huckleberry... once that confirmation email comes. It's been over an hour. I'm a decent player, but this seems to be aimed at sporadic play which I'm not particularly keen at.

I'll join in too.
I used too play decent enough, but i haven't played in a while so i'm bound to make the most stupid moves once in a while.

Looks interesting... I haven't played chess in a long time.
Anyone ever played 4-player chess?
I used to love playing it. |

| Never done that, it might be fun but i don't think you'll find many sites on the internet doing that. |

I've played a different version of 4 player chess. Play two games at once and instead of moving you can spend a turn on dropping a piece captured by your teammate
btw: my account is up _________________ "And then the sea was closed again, above us." |

| I played that a lot, it can be lots of fun if your teammate is good, but having respawning towers for your oponent is a pain in the ass. |

I always loved getting a knight, just being able to drop a knight in anywhere is so amazing.
I also played Monster where black only has 3 pawns and a king, but Black is allowed to move twice (including through check as long as it isn't in check by the second move).

Some friends of mine played that exact version at school during lunch almost every day last year. _________________ TORTOISE RUGBY. |

That looks... really cool.
Also way above my head. I am not particularly good at normal chess let alone that monstrosity. _________________ There are 4 boxes to use in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo. Use in that order. Starting now. |

I used to play it... I think I still have the board somewhere (that same version, actually).
It's a lot of fun and it's really not that complicated.
I agree that there probably aren't going to be any online forums for playing it, like the standard chess. Maybe in the future they will expand and add 4-player. |

Very cool. I got the challenges from Bart and Amilam.
Each player can have up to 6 games going (on the free accounts)
I have my slots filled at the moment, but will have another slot open soon (as I am about to get my ass kicked). |

Maybe we could post when we are most likely to play, so anyone with too much spare can log on then? This way we don't have to limit games to one move a day.
There is a good chance to meet me between 11 to 15 GMT but if i have an exeptionally lazy day it could be more.
(Put the hours in GMT, it's easier that way) |
