I can't seem to get my avatar to upload. I've changed the size, done a HD upload, a site-side upload...no joy. The auto-message seems to confirm my upload, even though nothing has happened. Can anyone help me? Is there a setting I am unaware of?

I'm having the same problem. but nothing worked for me

Is this entire forum is nothing but a wasteland filled with a few sinfest fans wondering the desolate tract in search of sanity.

Mutt: the only way I got mine to work was following the advice zeezee linked to. Do it step-by-step using ImageShack just like the post by Ms. Frisby will show. For now, it's the only way to get your avatar seen! Try it.

local hosted avatars don't work. you can however link to any off-site picture as an avatar.

Please don't do anything horrendously large, tho.

That really, sucks, Mutt. I wish I could be of more help, but following Ms. Frisby's Link to off-site Avatar instructions were the only thin that worked for me. You're using Imageshack, right? I tried other hosts and they failed miserably.

And Yorick's absolutely right. You'll find LOTS more to do/see/say/etc. in the other subforums!
