And to think, all that work when all they needed to do was grow a posable thumb and open the fridge door.

I think it's genius. Not drastically more so than the other strips, but it still had that moment in which you suddenly understand that more is going on than was originally apparent.

To me, the story is about the futility of man attempting to reach up to God, and the complete worthlessness of all of man's efforts to provide for himself, usually by imagining that his own decisions lead to his own success.

There's always that one thing that seems to stay hopelessly out of reach, but God only withholds it to show us that paying attention to him is more important than paying attention to the next pac-man pellet.

Nice Idea. Maybe Tat eats something everytime after finishing a comic, and they think they get food when they do the same.

Jesus...

The cat wants better food. If Tatsuya is more successful, he will have more money and percy will eat better.

my guess is they didn't like their food so they decided to make a comic to get beter food... only by the looks of it they destroyed the site and thus caused master to loose his source of income and now they will all starve... but not befor master kills pooch and perc and sustain himself.

ALL BOW TO MY WALL OF TEXT!

Is there any reason why your avatar has to be obnoxiously huge that I have to scroll to see all of the screen?

I find this strip absolutely delightful. P&P look so determined while working on their 'distress signal,' and so proud of themselves when the task is completed. Terrific!

This strip is definitely Sinfest's "Cow Tools".

I don't think it's THAT "udderly" bizarre.

i think we need to immortalize this one as the ultimate over-interpretation of the strip.

it's just cute - it's like kids playing house or office. you act like the grown-ups do, you get the rewards. the amusement is in seeing their interpretation of what the grownups do (master just puts a few squiggles on the paper, feeds it to the scanner and futzes with the computer and voila!)

and i just love their delight in their 'success' at each stage. (and of course, the fact the percy goes for the mouse)

I don't see it either. But I guess that's the mindfuck. People will waste time searching for something strange, but the picture is just normal.
