I am not sure how proud god is of squig.

At least Squig has talked to Him...

That's sort of like prayer...

Oh wait, I remember!

Forum Fixer? Or alternatively, Web Developer Toolbar and just selectively block the images you don't like?

or s/he could just stop being such a fucking asshole and reduce the size of his/her goddamn MF avatar, since it's ruining the internet experience for everyone else on the forum just with its very existance. A reasonable person would apologize directly for such an affront and make an effort to remedy the situation. A teenage-sodomizing rod-wiping jackhole wouldn't. Let's see what kind of person wingederis is!

Well that squig/god theory has gone down the drain.
So squig knows the meaning of life? Who would've thought that.

It came to my attention about, oh, ten years ago, that in the online experience, the internet is full of people with hideously large or obnoxious avatars (among other things). Now, I could spend my time arguing with and attempting to appeal to the intellect of each and every one of them, but that would take me the whole of my life (and, one suspects, with a very low success rate) to do, so it's easier just to let today's tremendously intelligent software filter the morons for me, so I don't even get upset in the first place. In this case, ignorance is bliss.

actually I was just looking to be pissy. I already ad-blocked the image.
Of course, if the image gets MOVED, back to patient zero.

Its not even a good avatar. If it was that big but something humorous was on it I could tolerate it a little more. As it is now, I just have to scroll over.

it inspired me to block it - but seriously, doing something that annoying is just not a good way of starting out. now wingdebris or whoever is in my mind as that annoying person who had to fill up the space with his av.

what, I can't politely ask someone to adjust their avatar's size to something slightly more reasonable? sure I've ad-blocked a few avatars here already but what's the harm in asking since nearly everyone is inconvenienced and needs to scroll over to read text.
