Even though this should have been obvious, I'm a bit relieved. |
Should have, yeah, but wasn't there initially uncertainty over whether they'd even be charged? Also, an effective sentence of 1-4yrs for rape seems... low. At the time of the offense, the two rapists were both 16, yeah? In Ohio, people can be charged as adults at the age of fourteen. It's interesting that they weren't. |
Did you see those two? It's gonna be a LOOOOOOONG 1-4 years for those boys. _________________

My goodreads account has pretty much gone inactive. Maybe Amazon will do something cool enough with this to draw me back in. _________________ butts |

yeah, i'd only go back if they set up a system where, if you add a book to your list under the "to read" heading, Amazon will automatically stop the passage of all time long enough for you to actually read it
they can do that, right? |

Nah, they can't actually change the flow of time. All they can do is throw more processing power at it, so once we can interface Amazon's cloud services with the human brain you'll be able to think about the book faster, which is almost as good as slowing time, if not stopping it. _________________ butts |
