I like the 'perspective' panel especially, along with 'emotional depth.'

also, it figures that we can't have a reflective strip without Monique showing off her ass.

Hmm a woman feeling incomplete. Either she is looking for a boy friend or a boob job. Smile

Nothing completes a thread like misogyny.

Her legs are crossed and she is leaning
forward a little with her elbows resting on
her knees.

What's missing is the butt crack you're
supposed to see from someone in tight
pants while in that sort of sitting position,
I think.

I like this strip. The god and devil precede the moral clarity box and Buddha represents emotional depth. As the strip goes on more and more detail is added as Monique lists them off.

I'm just rather surprised that nobody commented on the studious 'Nique with the hairband and glasses.

Actually now that you mentioned that, I also noticed the apple with a worm in it, on top of the books. Have no idea what it means though..
The apple from the tree of knowledge is rotten?
Criminy forgot to eat his lunch?
Red herring so Tat could count the number of posts until someone brought it up?

Umm... or it could have no particular meaning at all. The apple with the worm in it has been used for years, nay, scores of decades as a sort of visual pun, to represent the teacher's apple (ergo, connected to learning) and the bookworm (ditto). Refer to this and this by way of example.

I grew up reading comics and you see the apple with the worm recurring often over the years - I think cartoonists like to put it in to make the apple just look more interesting - although in this case, the closest you can get to 'meaning' is that it's probably relevant that it appears in the "attention to detail" panel.

Of course, if you like to overanalyse, both the apple worm and the bookworm are parasites...
