Senor Tatsuya must have a girlfriend or other close female relation, because today's strip is dead on! I myself am not prone to cramps often, but when I get them... This is basically exactly what I do, floor-beating included.
Yay for Tat's feminine side.

Really bad cramps can totally put you out of commission. Thank god that birth control pills are excellent at preventing the really bad ones from occurring. At least, in my case they do.

There's been a few times I've had to go home from work with cramps so bad I'd be having cold sweats and nausea. And I always hate it so much because I feel like I'm not strong enough to overcome them and keep working. Its that whole woman-empowerment feeling, and being beaten by my body. =/
But yes, my jaw dropped open when I saw today's strip. A male cartoonist not only bringing up the subject, but also depicting it perfectly.

I get horrible cramps because I get cysts on my right ovary. That strip was exact. Because when I get bad cramps, I am out of commission as well for the day. But mine feel like someone hooked up a crane to my innards and is trying to yank them out through my veh-jay-jay. Haha. Description, just for you guys.

Poor Nique'. I don't get cramps very often, but my sister does and she practiculy dies. Nique' should put a hot water bottle on her stomach. Thats my sister always does

Yes. I can count at least three occations which had me puking from the cramps. Yup, they were that bad. Hurray birth control!*
Also, blood clots in female bleeding are creepy.
*cutting down on the caffeine also helped a lot.
