Hmph. I don't really like it.

It seems too much like a fan-service.

I don't mean that in the sexual sense, of course. But there seems to be a lack of any real meaning or purpose to this comic. The last panel, especially, seems to just be intended for generic appeal - 'OMG! All those characters are in there! and FLOWERS!'

It's the sort of thing you'd put on the front of a collection, not use as a comic.

It would make a good cover for a fourth book...

Nicely done. I think it benefits from a bit of filling, though, as a mostly-white backdrop isn't nice. Also I extended the leaves all the way out to the Sinfest logo, thus giving some life to the rest of the area. The second one has Tat's name on it, for those who like it with acknowledgements.

Edit: oops, there's still white sky between the ropes on the swing. Give me a sec and I'll fix it.

Edit: fixed now.

I didn't even think to do that. That looks much better than my version. Smile

Beautiful, poignant, just really really great.

Sorry, man, but I am so stealing that. Cheers.

Deep analysis time: Buddha is a force for neither good nor evil (ie God/Jesus and Devil), but rather for nature and balance. Hence, planting a tree is neutral, balanced; trees bring life and joy, but also the original sin was brought by the Tree of Knowledge of Life and Death, hence the Devil being there with the apple - stemming from the tree. The tree cannot be good or evil, it simply is. It's the people (or in the Devil's case, entity) who make it so. That's why Buddha leaves at the end - he's done his part, the decision on good/evil is up to the humans. Analytical enough for you?

Slick pushing 'Nique is a great touch Smile

Add some background : Da Bud got enlightment under a tree, a banian tree, not an apple one. That he planted an apple tree had me highly amused.

Add Criminy sleeping under a enlightment tree for added deep layer, while Squiguy is happily reading (porn being likely).

One could dig out a koen, or a sufi tale to finish the job. Why bother?.

What do you mean, "reupload"? They're still where they always were. Oh, and if anybody wants different resolutions or shades of colour (how about a sunset sky?), just let me know... personally that's the wrong size for me too, as my monitor is 1400x1050, but maybe a generic 1280x1024 with a 4:3 aspect is best.

I liked the characters that were featured because I got the 'ying+yang'=balance/harmony sense from it.

Plus the art is quite nice.~ I find myself not wanting to be negative about this comic, though my track record isn't exactly a vicious one, now is it?

One of my favorite Sunday ones. Plus no complaints about no words? Razz I really like the simplicity of this strip.

4:3 in two resolutions - 1280x1024 and 1024x768 - although you can use either, it's just a matter of higher or lower resolution (=quality). If your screen is at 1024x768, use the former, and if you're at 800x600 (!), then use the latter. Of course it's largely up to you.

I have enough Photoshop talent to tweak these images however I like; I just wish I had enough artistic talent to be able to produce amazing art and characters the way Tat does. Sadly I don't, so I'll stick to admiring and tweaking.

EDIT: Note URL change; won't take affect in quoted links but I've edited all my own posts.

That was fast. Thanks.

Im fairly picky about my wallpapers, i tend to keep them for quite a while once i find something i like. My current one was the most beautiful pixelated beach scenery i have ever seen, but there is just something incredibly zen over this one.
