I had to Google it to find this out, but it's by Thich Nhat Hanh. Clearly Tat added that in order to personally recommend a Buddhist text to The Waiter Sits On Down.

You'll notice it was the original Dragon Ball and not Z.

Much better if you ask me, I could still watch that today, even if I'm no longer a 14 year old boy going through puberty.
