Belle & Sebastian - Piazza, New York Catcher
Yes, I am still listening to the Juno soundtrack.
Also, it has been really warm here and I could totally go for a game of baseball. _________________ TORTOISE RUGBY. |

This really isn't worthy of the esoteric music this thread usually sees, so I apologize...

I was going to pick The Stink Spirit Song (sorry, not positive of the title), as played by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, but, Dogen's post has inspired me to instead post
I wanna hold your hand - also the "Across the Universe" soundtrack.

there was a time when this song and 'sea of love' by cat power were two of my mixtape staples for boys i really liked... but now if i put them on a tape dudes are just gonna be like 'oh, yeah, i saw juno too. ' not to mention 'superstar' by sonic youth, although not for boys because it's a little creepy. anyway, goddammit juno!
my contribution:
lil' kim, 'queen bitch'
lyrically, i dust em off like pledge
hit hard like sledgehammers, bitch with that platinum grammar
i am a diamond clusta hustla
i'm pretty sure biggie wrote her rhymes on this track but it's still sick. |

Yeah, it totally ruined my Moldy Peaches snobbery Shame on me, but I can't admit to having known about either this song or Superstar before I watched Juno, although I'm sure had I been introduced to them I'd have liked them. I sure do now. My sister did try to get me onto Cat Power, but I never really got into them, which I stand by, although Sea of Love is some good Sheiße. _________________ TORTOISE RUGBY. |
