So for you boxing fans, you may have heard that Hector "Macho" Camacho, the guy who stopped Sugar Ray Leonard's last comeback, is officially brain dead. He wasn't really the best of people, but he was definitely one hell of a boxer. There's some kind of perverse irony that brain trauma unrelated to boxing (namely being shot in the face) is what did him in.

i could watch this video forever.

it's all the sweeter because Sanchez came from USC and out here we always get a Jets game on the radio just because he went to USC. nobody out here cares. Sanchez sucks. the Jets suck. nobody likes them. but every Sunday we have to listen to them suck because their quarterback went to USC and therefore we're supposed to care. so when he does things like run face-first into his lineman's ass it's just that much funnier.

Secondly: this actually seems motivated by necessity and quality rather than just publicity (cf, Perugia's football teams' attempt to sign Marta from Brazillian women's soccer a few years back)
