We may have watched it at the same time! Of course probably not - they repeat the shit out of movies. It is a rather entertaining movie, the main character's voice aside of course (I hate it). |
It kept my attention because I have a man-crush on Craig Ferguson, and a toddler-crush on Vikings and Dragons. _________________ All our final decisions are made in a state of mind that is not going to last. - Marky Mark Proust |

American Reunion.
I didn't go into it thinking much and it managed to disappoint. Is a super cheap laugh to much to ask for? _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

I've watched the Hobbit.
That's all I am going to say about that movie: I have watched it. _________________ Tsosm! Now trying out a trashier front page. |

Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work
An excellent reminder that Rivers is more than what you see on TV.

The Magic Christmas Tree (RiffTrax version)

I watched The Life of Pi.
Decent enough movie, although it can get a little weird. |

2D...I avoid 3D screenings. For some reason I don't see the 3D effect, my eyesight ain't perfect, and my eyes get tired if movie's too long. _________________ Tsosm! Now trying out a trashier front page. |

My copy of Christmas Vacation is in storage. I know, I'll watch it on On Demand.
On Demand wants $3 to watch it?
Going to the storage unit to grab it tonight. _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

I also saw The Hobbit, in 3D HFR. I hated the HFR. It looked awful. I can see the potential but one will have to shoot a movie completely different to take advantage of it. It is like turning on the high refresh rate on my tv for anything (except sports where it is cool), only worse. Much worse. Everything is super in focus all over the screen so I have no idea where to look - it is extremely distracting. It was almost like there was avery fast strobe light on when the movement was too fast. I do not recommend the HFR version.
Other than being annoyed at the film itself, I enjoyed the movie. Lots of action. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

my brother has that problem, it's something to do with the balance between his eyes (the relative dominance between the two, something like that). he hasn't been able to watch 3d at all, it gives him a headache. this year he went to some sort of doctor and has been doing exercises - hopefully it will help, because it seems like everything is going to 3d. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Ok, this is exactly what I was wondering about. _________________

Alternating Exotropia?
I basically only see out of one eye at a time. I live my life by the "camera 1, camera 2" effect. Magic eyes are impossible. 3D is manageable, but very strenuous mad results in a headache.
It's a result of my lazy eye as a child, after the surgery I trained my eyes to see as they recovered, rather than performing the proper exercises. It's not terribly uncommon they tell me and correctable with some effort if it ever becomes detrimental. _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

The movie was entertaining enough. The runtime padding was very obvious though, and Radagast's Jar Jar Binks level was a bit too high. |

don't know if he told me the name, but that could be it - he was diagnosed with lazy eye as a child, but he never had surgery - just had to wear a patch for a few years. _________________ aka: neverscared! |
