It wasn't really an injoke (I don't think so, anyway).
Its more a matter of knowing someone's personality, if that makes sense. An analogy would be like when Dennis is funny with newbies and they think he's being mean. We know him and know he's just being his normal funny and lovable self.

Not entirely true. I don't complain about Sinfest. If anything, I tend to defend it.

This would be a correct analogy if we had any evidence to suggest trev is capable of not acting like a pompous twat. |
