You want to ride Dro Mountain? Backwards in the rain? Or

So does that mean that your answer to my first question:

Does being willing to ride any amusement park ride any number of times rate on the manliness scale?

...would probably be "no", right?

Unless that's what you like riding you... manly men.

The only posts I don't finish are the ones that I start typing and then realize I am making a lame comment or joke. I have tried to stop posting when I am saying the same thing as the people above me.

Unless I am post whoring of course.

Can I ride?

That is the purpose of this thread. To display the lameness to the world.

because it wasn't manly enough

the only reason stick driving is still around is that it increases the profit margin on automatic gears and lets them market it as an extra. On top of that it induces an extra risk because you simply have more things to do instead of watching traffic and there's a big metal stick coming up through the floor which isn't very safe in crashes (measures are taken against this but it's pretty costly). ...Can't help but disagree. I find I'm more likely to zone out driving our big automatic Impala then the small standard Corola. See, that argument should make sense, except that once you learn to drive stick and become good at it, it becomes second nature, and you no longer need to think about it. End result is that I tend to be more aware and more focoused driving the Corola, because I have to focous to shift, but it doesn't actually distract me.

Right on the stick.

Once you're into the shifting thing, you'll shift without even realizing it, just becuse it's needed.

Of course, rowing down the street gets to be a pain in the ass.

Most of my lame posts never make it onto the screen in even a partial form.

Same thing happens to most of the threads I think about starting.
