General Iroh is a traitor to the Fire Nation for trying to stop Admiral Zhou from killing the Moon Spirit (which would've finished of the Northern Water Tribes). He is also the only character other than Azula we've seen play with lightnings.

Iroh is also the token dirty old man/comic badguy too. The guys that developed this show did a lot of homework and I think it shows. Hell, there's even a running gag in the series involving a cabbage merchant.

Not sure about that But I'm going to put my money on Aang moving the moon in Avatar state once he learns earthbending since it's already been stated that an eclipse is approaching before the comet arrives and it will have the opposite effect. My guess is that they will blow that chance and there fore have to manufacture and artificial eclipse.

They are called earth benders, comets arent from earth its from outerspace so of course they cant earth bend them lol |

I just thought the earth benders had to be standing on the earth to do their bending. Isn't that true? Because the Fire nation took a bunch of those earth benders and put them on an oil rig kind of thing out in the water and they got all wussified?

Also, couldn't Air Bender's just remove the air in their enemy's lungs?
And what is up with everyone losing against those Fire people? I mean, they suck. They all have an advantage against fire, y'know. Okay, okay, I'll explain:
Fire Nation vs. Other Nations
Sea battles: - Water people win. Creating storms 'n' shit.
- Air people win too. Creating storms would just sink the ships.
- Earth people win too. You wouldn't think so, but they can controll the earth, y'know? And what is under all that water? Yep. Earth. So, Fire blokes are sailing in their ships and suddenly, they stop moving. Oh dear, it seems that the ground has shot upwards and the water they're in is now 5cm deep. Oops?
Land Battles: - Earth people win. Easily. Okay, so the Fire troops are coming, right. Well, suddenly, the ground they were marching on fell 100 metres down and they all fall to their deaths. Or, suddenly, a wall of stone blows over them.
- Air people win. Storms just blow the Fire troops away. Blam. Dead.
- Water people are boned, I think. I don't know. They could flood the area. Or just stay in the fucking water, y'know. Or on ice. That'd be awesome. Oh, look, fire troops. BLAM! All frozen.
Air Battles: - Air people, clearly. They live there. Also: storms.
- Water people could controll the clouds and rain and all, so they wouldn't be helpless.
- The Earth people are bollocked, though. Don't go in the air, Earth People!
