| Well, I thought it was totally worth it, anyway. They are pretty quick little projects as far as crochet goes. Amigurumi is basically just what that book is, making cute little stuffed animals out of crochet (I think some can be knit, but the vast majority is crochet like what is in the book) |

it's been a while, so here's a couple of things I made lately:
the bifrost
the "on the road"
the mouldy caramel
the autumns
the girlscouts
the 5zł
the green one
the faux fox
the mermaids
aaaand of course the casual leftover cat pillow |

thanks! I'm glad I finally passed the imaginary border between "why do you knit, when you can buy stuff?" and "holy shit, did you make that?" |

That fox is awesome! The other things are really cool too, but I don't see myself wearing the girl clothes so less appeal. _________________ "I am the enemy," was the reply. "The one you thought would never come." |

thanks guys, the fox was made for fashion week, and it made fur-covered people feel uncomfortable, so yeah I might make a silver one too one day.

It is things like this that make me proud to be a knitter. Not that I will make these things. (except the socks, where did you get the yarn!?)
Always wanted to make myself a stripey vest, but with my chubby figure, I think that's a no-go. Hm.
And since we're showing off socks...
Made these earlier with some Blue Moon Socks That Rock sock yarn with color motifs. I love them and wear them almost constantly. Almost. _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

I want to see you guys make more foxes, but with the crazy rainbow colors you did in your scarf(I think its a scarf)
Preferably with 'X's for eyes, and how about a tongue hanging out of his mouth? _________________ "I am the enemy," was the reply. "The one you thought would never come." |

Hey! I recognize "the green one"! Well, the pattern at least. I think that's the only sweater pattern I ever made for myself. Tubey from knitty.com, right?
I haven't been knitting very much lately. I'm going to try to get into the habit of knitting on the bus, but I suspect the ride is too bouncy. I've got to try, though. My knitting time has been seriously curtailed and my favorite sister's birthday is coming up waaaay too soon. |

meddler: the yarn is turkish, I believe. I hardly ever make anything with acrylic, but those colours... mmmm.
jwing: yes, that's tubey, and the 'on the road' is beatnik, also from ravelry. add me? |

The bus ride to and fro school was bouncy for me, but I soon got into the hang of knitting during the ride. I had elderly ladies ask what I was making, and a few glares from the elderly men, but I really didn't care. I finished the posted socks there.
Also, vikkat, I got you added on Ravelry. ^_^ _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

So... this doesn't really fit into the knitting club, but I didn't want to make a whole new post about it.
Anyway, I'm designing a dress because if I don't sew something soon I may actually kill something in a rage-fit. This is a quick design doodle and a picture of the fabric. Thoughts?
