Thanks! Oh! Here's a picture of my now-work room. It's going to get a table soon (once I con someone in to helping me get it into my apartment). The fact that my sewing machine is set up again has me -giddy-. I did not realize how much I missed it.
Anyway, the table is going to go where that apple box is currently. In theory I'll be able to store a bunch of boxes under it. |

HAHA, oh, I didn't even think of that when I put it there. It's for the video blog I keep telling myself I'm going to start, and then chicken out of.
The only things across the street from that vantage point are bars and businesses. If you want to assume I spy on the drunkards you totally can, but they've been pretty quiet since the last time I video taped the guy that liked to rap loudly (sadly I missed the terrible rapping and only got him hurling insults at the bouncer who called the cops on him.) |

Whoo. One day worth of work aaaand I have a mock up. Kinda glad I did, it mighta ended up too tight if I hadn't. I didn't bother to drape the other shoulder because, well, lazy.
I made sure George* is the same size as me, but I'll probably slap in a zipper and try it on myself just to make sure. It's a little dubious to assume the fit is right when half of it is just pinned straight down.
*George is the name of my mannequin. |

Well, I think its perfect for catching a funniest home video moment since you can see the drunks.
Also, I like the cut of the dress. I am unsure if I like the sequins for it yet or not... |

| Yeeeah. I'm beginning to wonder if I even have enough fabric for it. Would be pretty silly if I got it all designed and had to buy different fabric for it... the whole point was to use what I had. |

From the look of things, George is a cross-dresser. _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

I'm not the least bit sorry.
Think of it as a gentle nudge telling you it's time to move on. |

Behold, new scarf in the makings!
Also glad this thread got reborn.
Also, those leaves! What are they going to be for? _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!
