Did anybody notice? The links to the archives & forums are bad when you're in the Resistance page.
My friends, this may be the work of Li'l Evil as a techie. |

Has anyone else had this happen? I check a thread and then click back to the forum I am in but the thread still shows up as new. There isn't a new post there! _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

I think I've had it happen once or twice, but I think we can rough it out.
I still think an "ignore this user" option would be handy. |

that happened to me on the old forum as well. I think it has something to do with how long you have the window open. _________________ 88 NPH |

|

I hope this is the right thread/forum (as in media) for this info.
Ever since the site update, my computer has been having difficulties loading some of the comic images, particularly the big fancy coloured ones. This happens when I try and access comics either by pushing the 'previous' button or by going through the archives. I'm using osX and safari 2.0.3. I'm a relatively new mac user so it could be something I'm doing, but it's definately not something that's happening with any other comic or image-heavy sites.
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this from my end? I don't wanna send the author an email saying "there's a problem with your site!' when it turns out to be some dumb thing I'm doing...
Edited for clarity |

Yeah, others are having problems with viewing the current comic. There's a discussion going on in the "Sinfest" forum area, but no consensus on what is actually happening. If anecdotal evidence is to be assumed to be correct, the only solution is to switch to Internet Explorer and kiss Bill Gate's ass.

| Unfortunately, for Mac users that is not an option, unless someone happens to know of a IE version for Mac. I have looked, but it appears to have been discontinued. |

Actually, I wasn't being serious. Given the general attitude about IE from most of the oldbies, I'm surprised I haven't been stoned yet.
Of course, given my own opinion of Microsoft, I should probably stone myself... _________________ -Agamemnon.....but you can call me Jake.

I appreciate that.
When I said "unfortunately" I meant that to convey the fact that it was unfortunate that I could not view the entirety of today's most awesome comic, although, thanks to HalfPint, I am able to.
I suffer no distress from being unable to use IE.
Other than the fact that a lack of IE renders it impossible for me to play a certain online MMORPG that has intrigued me. |

There is an ie version for mac. Silly, you could have just searched Google. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

Still. I'd not touch IE unless I had no other choice. Which I don't. *smokes with LF* _________________ -Agamemnon.....but you can call me Jake.
