ohh Orphan Black is next on the list. Also is catching the final season of Dexter, which for some reason I've failed to watch. Which also reminds me that I only got about 2/3 of the way through Dead Like Me

I loved Dead Like Me, and really just as much for the show itself than only because I had a huge crush on Ellen Muth and her husky voice.

I found a BBC production of The Musketeers that looks promising.

I sat down recently and watched a few episodes of Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc.
Now I have a huge crush on this show! Character development, series-spanning story arc, and some genuinely dark material woven into the interactions and plotline. All of that on top of clever deconstruction and parody of the ol' formula tropes and some well-conceived Monster-of-the-Week guests. They even put interesting twists on other Hanna-Barbera characters, like tying Blue Falcon and Dyno-Mutt in with Johnny Quest (and making BF an homage to Frank Miller's Batman).
There's two seasons that were plagued by production problems, but they wrap up nicely at the end instead of leaving on a cliff-hanger or unresolved threads.
Plus Lewis Black and Patrick Warburton voice some recurring side characters!

I really didn't expect this kind of a show from Warner Bros. outside of a DC Superheroes franchise. It's like a long overdue apology for Scrappy Doo!

Three episodes into the second season of Gravity Falls and already there's a serious tear-jerker.

Jeez, Gravity Falls just did a Five Nights at Freddie's episode.

And the episode was written about a year before the game!

‘Twin Peaks’ Returns As Showtime Limited Series From David Lynch & Mark Frost

Quote:
The new Twin Peaks will be set in the present day, more than two decades after the events in the first two seasons. It will continue the lore and story of the original series, with Lynch and Frost committed to providing long-awaited answers and, hopefully, a satisfying conclusion to the series. It is unclear which actors from the original series will be featured in the followup. I hear that star Kyle MacLachlan will be back, reprising his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper who was at the center of the show. UPDATE: MacLachlan hinted at his return as Cooper on Twitter later today: “Better fire up that percolator and find my black suit Smile

9 episodes, all scripted by Lynch & Frost, all directed by Lynch. These are the reasons I don't just throw myself in front of oncoming trains. 2016!

It's still not finished, but for Youessians, I must say, Doctor Who finale was good. I didn't think it was great. I thought the last twenty minutes was, well, okay ...

But Michelle Gomez? Brilliant.

Me and my non sci-fi friends still regularly talk about how amazing she was in Green Wing, but in Dr Who she has been a great character.

i just discovered (well, a week ago), that when my cable station reshuffled stations recently, they left me with access to BBC America - which means i got to watch the last 2 Dr Whos! and after the finale, they broadcast the first of the "sherlocks", which has me hoping that they might reshow older dr. whos, so i will at least have a bit of an idea what is going on. i mean, clara wasn't a companion, she was his best friend? when did that happen?

(although i didn't get greyskull post-credits - i got santa claus. am i actually in another year?)

As Clara herself pointed out, she was also an excellent liar.

Being his best friend might actually have been true, mind, though he tends not to have many friends at once, so there's not often much competition for the post.

Frankly, I'm just annoyed at the pointless murder of that fantastic woman with the bow tie, just to prove that Missy was "bananas!".
