It strikes me we need a thread in which to celebrate the lives of newly dead famous people, for which I have created this thread.

damn.
although i don't know which makes me sadder - knowing mcgoohan is dead, or seeing that itv is remaking "the prisoner" (with jim caviezel, yet - somehow christ as no. 6 just changes the vibe in all the wrong ways.)
and ricardo montalban - well, this is just a really depressing start to the year.
