I hate adding two people in one day but...Phyllis Diller passed away at age 95.
She was one of my favorites. I loved her on Laugh-In. She was still telling x-rated jokes in her 90's. That's one hell of a woman and one iconic comedian. RIP. _________________ My blog is back bitches!! Check it out and comment: http://www.quixoticroads.com

Unless the Chinese get their space groove on, every person who ever walked on the moon will be dead within twenty years. |

| Whether we ever return to the moon or not, what was done in the Apollo program will continue to stand as man's greatest scientific achievement for a long, LONG time. The ships that made those landings had the computer processing power equivalent to the most basic pocket calculator, backed by a level of public support and drive that just can't be mustered today. |

We had gotten really into The Finder. I don't know how they could continue that without him. Well, I can conceive of how, but I don't think it would be nearly as good. _________________ The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

| For those who like me have never seen the Green Mile or the Finder, his name was Michael Clarke Duncan. |

Andy Williams
For all you young whipper-snappers, he was a crooner from the mid- to late- 20th century, most known for songs like Moon River and It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year _________________ The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

I'm in the same boat. Although they cancelled it at the end of last season, so it's almost certainly a moot point. _________________ "Whatever afflicts thee, their asses I shall kick"
