Hello, Banyaniichan!

Glad to see you stepping out! Welcome to the actively posting forum community! Looking forward to conversing with you!

Unless of course, you decide you wish to return to being a lurkmeister, which is perfectly fine as well.

Successfully registering to a forum usually quenches my desire to post. :3

I like to read posts about the day's strip. Some of you have such insight into this series of images and words! Makes me realise even better what a small mind I have.

Part of the reason I enjoy Sinfest is because it has evolved pretty much in sync with my own personal evolution. I've been reading Sinfest from the beginning, and it is actually the first free webcomic I ever saw. Well, at least it's the only one I can remember reading before year 2003 and my very own Internets... Babble babble, no one cares, back to lurking I go. I think. Maybe. Not guaranteed. Babble.

TL;DR: I like cats. Toodles! ^___^

Hi all,

Checking in. I actually discovered Sinfest after seeing a write-up about it on Pharyngula a year ago. Since then I've perused through the entire archive, and sometimes re-read the newest strips several times a day.

I doubt I would have found much appeal in Sinfest five or ten years ago, but I've been fascinated by all the character development that's happened since 2011. The Sisterhood really opened up the world of the comic in my eyes, and I'm absolutely glued to the ongoing saga of Li'l E, Tange, and the Fembot. Honestly, it's one of the things that keeps me alive from day to day!

A hearty welcome, Andrew T. !

Even though I rather liked quite a few things about the old strips, it's kind of refreshing to see people joining for the new stuff.

Hello Sinfest forum members!

Like Andrew T. above I found Sinfest through Pharyngula (probably via that exact post too). So I've been reading the comics for over a year and lurking in the forum about each day's strip since the beginning of this year. I initially tried to create an account in April, but I guess it got caught in the spam folder. Now after emailing the creator I've successfully created my account on my second try. Yay!

I've read all the recent comics. I tried to read everything from the beginning, but I lost a bit of interest in the comics around 2004, so I skipped ahead to 2010 and read on from there. I've tried to read through the older ones sporadically, reading 2009, then 2008. Yeah, I know it's a weird reading order.

I'll most likely continue to lurk because I find that other commenters tend to say what I want to say, only better.

My warm welcome to you, Jaygee, resident of Ooo!

I sort of doubt many of us who joined within the past year or two have read every single strip consecutively. That would be quite a marvel indeed! I certainly haven't managed it. Most of us do, I think, only really read the old strips in eclectic patches here and there.

Not gonna lie, i'm suspicious of any newbie who found themselves here from a social justice website.

Thanks for the welcome Instacow!

I think I have a few years' worth of strips left to read. I have a slight compulsion to finish things. Right now I'm re-reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series because I made it through the first three books last time, but got busy or lost interest. The books are okay only, but I can't just let them go unfinished. I also re-read Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett for the same reason. (I didn't much enjoy it, but thought I would because I loved Pratchett's other works.)

I find it funny some consider Pharyngula a social justice website, maybe because I don't really consider it such since I got there on my search for atheist and sciency bloggers. It definitely has acquired a social justice bent over the years though. For me, that makes things more interesting.

Btw, what does it mean for me to be considered suspicious? Will you side-eye my comments? I can live with that.
