Nice little game for a 5-10 minute distraction. Not sure how long it can potentially run for but it gets pretty easy to figure the rhythms. I could have probably done better but I got impatient.

One quick quibble, there were a couple of planets that had life but no water? I don't think that would work.

Planet Arctica
Atmosphere: Marginal Features:
Poisonous plants
Dangerous animals
Gravity: Low
Temperature: Very cold
Water: Ice-covered surface
Resources: Poor

Arctica's tall alien plants reach hundreds of metres into a pale blue sky. The colonists live in tall stone-walled cities under airtight domes, on top of the planet-wide ice sheet. The cities are dominated by temples to the state religion which controls every aspect of people's lives. In the first city stand monuments to the 461 colonists who died building the first settlement and the seedship AI that guided humanity to its new home.

Planet Eden
Atmosphere: Breathable
Features: Insulated caves, Edible plants
Gravity: Moderate
Temperature: Moderate
Water: Oceans

Eden's alien forests stretch away beneath a blue sky. The colonists live in stone-walled cities beneath the planet's open sky, beside rivers that flow into the planet's oceans. The cities are dominated by the palaces of the emperors, who live in luxury while the population toils to support them. In the first city stand monuments to the 417 colonists who did not survive the journey and the seedship AI that guided humanity to its new home.

The landing fucked me over because that system was so damaged, but it was either that or let that eugenics program keep running. And no-one will disagree when I say fuck eugenics.

But hey. Humanity pulled ourselves up from the mire of slave empires before, I have hope we can do it again.

I did another round, and ended up with an Atomic age Corrupt Democracy on a planet-wide ocean.

So basically western civilization ON THE HIGH SEAS.

Planet Arcadia
Atmosphere: Breathable Features:
Barren moon
Outstanding beauty
Edible plants
Dangerous animals
Neolithic civilisation
Gravity: High
Temperature: Hot
Water: Oceans
Resources: Rich

Arcadia's squat, thick-limbed alien plants stretch away beneath a blue sky. The colonists live in squat cities of steel and concrete with buildings sealed against the planet's harsh environment, beside rivers that flow into the planet's oceans. They spend their time pursuing art, leisure, and spiritual fulfilment, while automatic machines take care of their material needs. Traders and diplomats from the planet's native nations are occasionally seen in the colonists' communities. In the first city stand monuments to the 249 colonists who died building the first settlement and the seedship AI that guided humanity to its new home.

Garden's ocean stretches to the horizon a blue sky. The ruins of the colony decay at the bottom of the planet-wide ocean. Nearby stand monuments built by the planet's native inhabitants to celebrate their victory over the invaders.

That went great! Pretty planet, comfortable tech level, good resources, all the humans murdered by the natives. Ah... peace.

Arid's impossibly slender alien plants reach kilometres into a pale blue sky. The colonists live in towering stone-walled cities under airtight domes, gathered around water production plants. They live lives of peace and spiritual fulfilment beyond the dreams of their ancestors on Earth, guided by a combination of human and alien philosophy. Many of the planet's native inhabitants live in the human communities, and the colonists' culture has been enriched by alien influences. In the first city stand monuments to the 130 colonists who died building the first settlement and the seedship AI that guided humanity to its new home.

Bounty's ocean tosses with slow, tall waves, beneath a pale blue sky. The colonists live in tall high-tech cities under airtight domes, on platforms floating on the planet-wide ocean. They live happy and fulfilled lives under the guidance of selfless elected officials.
