Meh. I think they're just square, horn-rimmed glasses.  Not necessarily Sarah Palin.
And plus, they're super-nerdy, which in itself is made of awesome. 
I hope this somehow encourages Criminy to become more outgoing.
And possibly lead into a relationship with Fuchsia.

This might be the first time God picked on an innocent/harmless character. Usually He mocks The Devil or Little E. And while Squig, Slick and 'Nique are not evil, they're not exactly harmless either. Yet Crim... Maybe God's pissed Crim gave The Devil Girl a book?

God doesn't ever do anything like that out of malevolence though. He's probably just trying to get Crim to think about himself differently. |
