I blame the Audioslave that I've been listening to lately.
I was tempted to discredit Kid Rock as an option simply because his scat chorus in Bawitaba is a ripoff of Rapper's Delight. |

I'm afraid I'm not sufficiently educated in this matter to post an opinion... Maybe you could provide me with samples, Trevor? _________________ fight |

I can name some songs, but it's up to you to obtain them.
Audioslave - Exploder
Disturbed - Down with the Sickness
Korn - Twist
Kid Rock - Bawitaba
And I am drawing a blank on the name of the song I have in mind for Aerosmith... I should be able to think of it, but I must be too tired right now. Ask Just_A_Girl for that one, I'm sure she can name at least one. |

| I asked this question to a coworker today and he threw a surprise answer at me: David Gilmore. His reason was that Gilmore actually scats all of his guitar solos before ever playing them on guitar. His scats don't make it into the song, but each of his guitar solos started off as one. |

Trev: <3! hehe you know who I chose. But it was actual a tough choice. Those are all good artists, and I like some of them purely for their scating (Korn and Disturbed)
And as far as Aerosmith songs with Steven Tyler's scating in them, two songs that have his two different styles (the really fast, and the bluesy...The end of Dude looks like a lady, and Ragdoll both have good examples) Though really almost any of their songs have a little bit. |

| The end of Rag Doll was the one I had in my head when I made the poll. I had to put Big Ones on to help me remember, and by the time I did, you had posted. Thanks, though. |

I read your location as in an instruction for someone to 'australia' themselves, fucker, rather than 'australia, you fucker'.
I need to use more countries as verbs. |
