Oh no! Guest thinks I'm clueless! If only I cared...
Anyway, we're over this now, right? Everyone's had their good, hard cry, Dogen is a big mean man, pouty face, and we move on? Good. |

| I'm sensitive to things that matter. Internet dick measuring isn't one of those things. |

So my sister is a naturopathic physician... After lots of practice we only talk about nutrition. |

It was here we were talking about the placebo effect wasn't it?
Really fascinating article:
http://www.wired.com/medtech/drugs/magazine/17-09/ff_placebo_effect?currentPage=1
The placebo effect is now as powerful, and in some cases, more powerful than commonly used painkilling and psychiatric drugs. Largely due to the uniquitous marketing of over-the-counter and prescription medication. The main pharmaceuticals are now funding massive trials of the placebo effect to find out how it is stimulated.
Alternative medicine that is becoming medicine. _________________ Ironically, Halen's one of the few people here I wouldn't worry about terrifying my friends and family. In my head he ends every real life conversation stroking his chin and saying, "well yes, that sounds reasonable." |

What?
Stuff like this is why I stopped reading Wired. |

If that is a mash-up of ubiquitous with iniquitous then that is an excellent and highly appropriate word. _________________ The reward for a good life is a good life. |
