Kind of telling how they assumed any bleached blond reporter was just a vapid sex symbol instead of maybe actually being a competent professional, possibly maybe even with a personal life beyond "she works for CNN" that might maybe possibly be impacted by their stunt.
They don't deal with people, they deal with stereotypes. If something doesn't fit their stereotypes they try real hard to make it fit.

I don't know. I freely admit that I have trouble keeping all of the particulars of the stunt clear and in order. Figuring out the motives and shit for o'keefe & co is like trying to figure out timecube.

i was reading about the resignation of the NPR CEO over this, followed the link to the story about the 'sting', and as soon as i saw "james o'keefe".....man, isn't this guy supposed to be in jail? and how does he still manage to make people take him seriously enough to talk to him that long? (really, i can't bring myself to watch the full video)

and more importantly - why does anyone, anyone outside the tea party loons he caters to pay the slightest attention to his grotesque hatchet jobs? and why aren't either of the schillers suing him?

Nobody cares though. The guy in question already left NPR before this became public and the only people that find anything the guy said offensive are Tea Partiers.

Also, O'Keefe isn't in jail, because his dad's a DA or something like that.

And while the guy that gave the interview was already resigning, the current NPR CEO was not planning to resign until after this video was made. I'm still not sure why she is resigning over it though.
