$4 billion deal
Okay so half of the title is... unlikely, but sheesh, I have trouble seeing how this could be a good thing for fans of Marvel comics. Say, Disney approving Moon Knight and Punisher titles continuing the way they have in past? It makes perfect business sense and all, but yeah.
Though... Marvel characters making appearances in Kingdom Hearts III might be amusing. |

There are bound to be some terrible internal power struggles over this.

Does this mean the movies will now be G instead of PG-13 ? Wolverine with styrofoam claws? _________________

Every new Marvel movie will end with a moral and a warm, fuzzy feeling. |

I don't see much crossover influence between the two personally, but it's a hoot watching deviantArt react to the news.
... it'd be awesome to put Deadpool in a Kingdom Hearts game. _________________

I am DEMANDING that Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning and Brad Bird be locked in a room with a laptop. Their release is completely and utterly dependent on them coming up with scripts for CG Inhuman and Silver Surfer movies.
If I can just get those done Disney can carve Rob Liefeld's rendition Norman Osbourne and Peter Parker holding hands and skipping through a field of wildflowers on the surface on the moon |

Well the positives are that Marvel no longer needs to secure financing from banks for making movies by putting up the licensing of their top characters that haven't already been licensed out. The cash flow for projects should be wide open now without the risk of defaulting on a loan.
The negatives are the possibility that Disney may demand more kid friendly scripts for movies and comics. But word is that Disney wants Marvel to target a market they aren't strong in, which is content geared towards teenage boys. I think and pray that Disney will keep their hands off Marvel and allow them to do what they've been doing and contribute in marketing.
Question here now is, what happens to Universal Studios Orlando? They have a section of the park devoted to Marvel. Do they change it or pay royalties to their competition? |

You mean they're gonna fire Jeph Loeb!? Sweet.
They don't really need to fire Joe Q but they need to make sure he never ever has creative input on another comic ever again. _________________ I couldnt think of anything smart to say. |

Nah. Now they've got the money to keep Loeb and Claremont on their respective books and never let them do ANYTHING that matters to normal 616 continuity ever again.
Can fucking wait till this "Rulk" shit is over. |
