The devil and his girls get their due!

Man, I wish I were that spiritual (but in a Christian manner)

Poor bookworm, Devil Girl still wants it three ways, him, the devil, and blue...

Tsk, tsk...

At least he's not as bad as Slick, who has no better luck with Monique...

http://buddhism.about.com/od/iconsofbuddhism/a/mara.htm

This is the story of Mara versus Buddha.

"Then Siddhartha reached out his right hand to touch the earth, and the earth itself spoke: "I bear you witness!" Mara disappeared."

The attacks are a slight variant on the 3 temptations.

Three beautiful women, ferocious demons and pride are the traditional three.

Sad to see that, despite her feelings for Crim, Fuschia's still the same she-devil as ever. Mad

Bah! Got to it before me... I was thinking "Ohmigosh! Mara!!!" right off the bat...

I just saw a BBC doc on the Buddha last week, so it was fresh in my head.

It's her job, most people don't like their job, even if they're good at it. Just because we don't "see" her sneaking around with Crim doesn't mean anything's changed.

Frankly I'm curious how she went about explaining the whole flying "love pitchfork" accident.

Fuschia aside, this comic gives a very litteral meaning to "blown away."

i think you're reading too much into her behavior while "on the job". she has to act like nothing's changed or incur the wrath of her boss (who has a great stand-alone in panel three).

I love Cerberus' faces in the 14th panel.

And yes, it may be that big D ties to his employees are not what they appear in the first place.

I agree, with today's economy, you really dont want to do something that could get you fired. And I would imagine working for Big D', being "fired" probably means just that...
