I have never posed as a canadian, but I find that if you avoid behaving like an ass people tend to treat you nicely. Go figure.
While I'm on the subject when in the UK I like to frequent pubs and there is almost always a little old scottish guy who pegs me as an american before I've said a word and then spends hours regaling me with what he thinks is wrong with my country in a very polite and entertaining fashion. Call me paranoid but I think it might be the same guy every time....

Well there are differences mouse, but in hindsight those could be due to disguise....
it may all be part of some diabolical plot by the British government to keep visitors busy and out of their hair and, incidentally, drinking copiously in the pub.
