This hearkens back to Fuchsia's experiences with discrimination when she took the bus into The City in a Sunday strip.

Satanism's concept of Satan is very different from Christianity's concept of Satan, so it's debatable how offensive they would find the depiction here, even if it was intended seriously and not ironically. I'm guessing the point here is something along the lines of that it's actually "unChristian" to degrade anyone, even a devil; thus both Seymour AND Li'l E are intended to come across as hypocrites, because Seymour thinks it's funny and Li'l E has thought the same sort of thing was funny when it was directed at someone else. I'm guessing.

I can truthfully say that 100% of the Satanists I've met have been perfectly nice charming people. Admittedly, AFAIK I've only met one, but nevertheless...
