All those Japanese-style drawings look alike to me. And Monique looks quite different from them just about all of the time.

One of the things I like about Sinfest is that the characters aren't all anime'd out. There is a hint of that style, but it is definitely not at all the same.

I am so sick of anime. Talk about OVERUSED.

I wouldn't say anime style is overused, more that it's just becoming more prevalent in the West (eg: Teen Titans).

The anime/manga stylization has a lot going for it, especially in regards to efficiency of expressing emotion.

I tried watching the remake of Appleseed last night. The animation was pretty cool, but when did the writing turn so sucky?

On behalf of sane anime fans everywhere I'd like to apologize for AK BOY's comments, he is obviously not aware that animes like Naruto and One Piece are censored because they have to meet some kind of arbitrary censor level, otherwise they'd have to be aired at a later time slot (probably around the time that Showtime airs softcore porn).

I would also ask you to excuse his fanboyism, in his enthusiasm for anime he has lost sight of the fact that saying things in capital letters makes you look retarded. Also, openly stating your love for the Naruto anime series is very likely to get you laughed at, especially considering they've done a filler episode for about every four episodes they've released.

Thank you and have a nice day.

No.
I think I'll just laugh heartily instead.
But thank you all the same.

ok Kame this is the first time ive ever defended any anime opnly because ive read the origanal manga form and it would be fine the way it is on adult swim or even toonamie which has had worse things on it then those two and if youve ever read the organl one peice theres nothing wrong with the way it is already they changed things that shouldent matter like sanji smoking and little things like that
