I'm just pointing out his hypocrisy, he insulted what he didn't believe in, but man, when it was his religious beliefs!

Maybe, I just guess being Catholic I'm used to people ignoring "the man" or "the Vatican" in my case...

In thy olde days, no one mocked the Catholic Church, mainly due to things like inquisitions and witch burnings, they only difference is that Islam doesn't rule over our countries the way the Catholic Church once did. _________________ “I believe in benevolent dictatorship provided I am the dictator”

It does rule over a different set of countries in a very similar way, though. _________________ “Yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation”

In a very different way. There is no organized church, nor any similar organisation, Even the Abbasids didn't have much power as خليفات since all power ws effectively exercised by local rulers of the Empire. And what comes near to "clergy" is actually more akin to "lawyers" and they don't claim to be blessed or have parttaken in a special relationship with God, they just went to proper schools.
Unless you mean that it rules by stirring up emotions, and spreading a set of values, i which case every religion is, was, and will be guilty. |

Today the majority of Catholics in the US do they're own thang and disagree with the Catholic Church and its policies. Even as early as the sixties JFK was elected and he not only didn't agree with church doctrine but had affairs with women including Marylin Monroe.
John Kerry also wasn't a ring kissing Catholic either... |

It's the Fundamentalists of any religion that you have3 to worry about, they're not happy with just living by their beliefs, they feel a need to try and force everyone else do and believe the same way. _________________ “I believe in benevolent dictatorship provided I am the dictator”
