We have a "Favorite Sinfest Strip" thread so why not a "Worst Sinfest Strip" just to make it even?

This thread only furthers the stereotype that Sinfest has any bad comics, when in fact all of them are the shizzle.

I don't care much for the poetry. Also, the calligraphy ones don't interest me much. And there are some of the spoof ones that are not that clever. I guess I prefer story-line humor. Also, any strip about something-tron I don't get. Somehow I missed the whatever-tron craze.

We can appreciate the transition even if we can't read the characters.

Nobody can know everything.

I love that kind of stuff... Like when you see them combine a picture of the mother-to-be and father-to-be to predict what their kid might look like. I think it's neat.

I didn't particularly care for the strips a few months back where Tat wasn't updating regularly and all the jokes seemed to be run-of-the-mill irony. Only I'd spotted the punchline for "What if we're all brains in vats?" a mile away, so there was no real irony to speak of.

I like the calligraphy comics and the more off-beat ones. I don't think every comic should cram in as many laughs as it can at the expense of the author's integrity and ability to create. I also don't laugh out loud that much anyway, so the point is semi-moot.

I really just don't care for the cat and dog strips. Gimme some storyline anyday.

Yeah. That one was particularly disappointing. Maybe the worst one.

You just didn't get it. You see, that last panel wasn't them imagining they were brains in vats.

They actually were honest-to-goodness brains in vats. Thus the humor comes from them speculating about a situation that actually, very much so really happened.

Which makes you think, "Whoaaaa... I could be a brain in a vat too!"

Freakout city.I know, I know.......

I totally agree with Dro on this one.
I thought it was pretty funny and genius.

Quote:
As many of you have already guessed, I was away on my annual trip to Bohemian Grove, where the rich and powerful gather to plan the next course in world domination. I smoked a bowl with Bono and Arnie before the Cremation of Care, the ritual sacrifice to the Dark Lord Molech. Good times. Sinfest, of course, is a major player in the New World Order, disseminating encrypted messages, via webcomic, to the Secret Order of the Brotherhood of The Clandestine Society of The Black Skull of Illuminated Knowledge of Darkness. The layperson only gets the surface jokes, but there's a complex Da Vinci Code type thing going on, buried in the panels, embedded in the pixels, accessible only to initiates. If the punchlines in Sinfest are sometimes lame, that's only because you don't know the code. I assure you it's hilarious. It's so funny you don't even know. Sometimes the "cover" punchlines are deliberately lame to camouflage the fabulous inside jokes. It's all very technical. Alas, I've said too much already. Oh, and here's a coded message for all my fellow pledges of the Dark Brotherhood: The Ancient Astronaut has landed. Operation Snoopy Tits is a GO! Those in the know know what I'm talking about. Shouts to all my oppressor buddies. Go, World Domination!

Tat.
Reads.
The forums.

Also I have been meaning for a while to yell and scream about this thread and the very idea of all getting together to whine about strips we didn't like. I am, however, kind of sleepy as I just woke up, and rather than a big tyrade or a healthy serving of sarcasm, just going to say:
ARGLEBARGLE STUIPD THREAD SHUT UP.

In conclusion: Hi Tat!
Love,
Josh
