Sorry, I doubt many of you know what the hell I'm talking about but I'm too excited and I have to let it out somehow. Anyway, Target will be releasing compilations of good ol' Sierra adventure games (Space Quest and King's Quest will definitely be. Possibly Quest for Glory, Police Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry some time later?).
They'll be $20 each it seems. Space Quest and King's Quest collections are scheduled for release on September the 15th. If you have never heard of these games before you definitely check them out. If you have heard of them, you're probably just as giddy as I am.

I can't believe my parents let me play that series back in the day. They thought it was cute how you had to click on him to remove his condom before leaving the motel and entering the streets or else you're arrested for public nudity. Man. What are people playing nowadays on computer? Those aren't games.

I remember my youth filled immaturity and a complete lack of understanding for the english language made playing the larry game extra difficult.

I ended up just sitting around typing any euphimisms for "hard cock" into the word box.

I think "grow dick" was one of them. "strong wee wee" was another... I don't have a clue why I wanted larry's dick to be hard when he's just going up and down stairs, on hind sight.

I just went back and played Kings Quest VII. My boy worked his magic to get it to work. That stuff was hard! Then again, all of the old stuff was.

Slightly off topic - I've been on a huge Dr. Mario kick lately. My friends and I stay up into the wee hours of the morn playing both the NES and 64 versions. Those little pills are mighty addictive.

I used to play Larry when I was a kid but we didn't own the floppy disk for the second part of the game. So you could never really leave the Police Station, only if you did so to go to the chapel. Or something like that.

I loved the Kings Quest series. I got the collection a few years back when they were still selling them. To this day I cannot get max points in KQI
