Would you take another look at the comic? Her feet are
as though she was seated facing west, while the rest of
her body is kneeling facing east. Can you kneel and point
your toes at the sky at the same time? |

I have taken the liberty of coloring the panels in question. The blue is her shoes. The flesh color is her body.

Not if you notice the lacing, which on a flipflop is always along the ankle. Panel 3 is really weird; I certainly don't have a second set of knees along my shins.
But whatever; the comic was enjoyable. I don't want to fight anybody about it.

flip flops are NOT along the ankle. They are on the top of the foot from about the inside arch on one side and about two inches back from the little toe on the outside of the foot.

aside from the fact 'nique is clearly wearing thongs/flipflops, i'm pretty sure tat knows how feet go.
anyway, i've been really impressed with the new style of animation recently. everything looks so smooth and finished. the characters are getting more real. |

No they're not, they're called flipflops over here too. Thongs are called thongs. Or G-strings.
And fannies are definitely different, hence the immense hilarity whenever Americans talk about 'fanny packs'. (which we call 'bumbags')
