My 6000th post on the 'new' forum ended with me faux-masturbating over a GI Joe character. The shame!
Nah, not really! My 6000th post on the 'new' forum ended with me properly whacking one out over a GI Joe character. I properly messed up my ergonomic keyboard. _________________

I've always been intrigued by the man behind the facts; so tell me, WoC, which cartoon character did you find yourself whacking it to when your 6000th post came around?
Don't forget to include links, most current users don't remember 2007.
*edit: that sounded mean; wasn't meant to be mean* _________________

Clarabelle Cow. I've always had a thing for gals with that timeless style, and since her roles were small she's got an air of mystery about her.
Anway, I think that the next pet I own shall be a toaster. |

Yahoo News always has the most amusing headlines: "McCain thinks your questions are dumb, reporters"
How the fuck do you even parse that? _________________ The older I get, the more certain I become of one thing. True and abiding cynicism is simply a form of cowardice. |

With my head stuffed full of talk about "umami" and "savory" and "vitamins," I went to Publix and plucked a small jar of Marmite from their British Foods section about a week ago. It has mostly sat unused over the microwave while I tried to find a way to make it more palatable. Mixing it with butter to spread on bread proved moderately successful. But now I have stumbled upon the ultimate solution.
Mashed potatoes.
The result is that it's got the savory and salty goodness of gravy that works so well with the starchy potato goo, but without any of the fat. Plus a boatload of B vitamins. I need those vitamins!
If I can find a way to avoid making my own bread dough, I might have to try the Marmite cheese scrolls. |

do grocery stores still sell frozen bread dough? i haven't looked in a while, but you might. what is a marmite cheese scroll - marmite and cheese done jelly-roll style? i bought some nutritional yeast a couple weeks ago after reading some joys-of-veganism thing, but i haven't tried it on anything yet, and now i can't remember what she said to try it on. but i'm trying to stay away from starchy things like potatoes (with or without fat).
by the way, speaking of not paying attention, when did this turn into the toastwhoring thread? damn, stop making me think of toast! _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Probably. Baking bread has always been low down on my list of priorities. Somewhere south of "heating up frozen pizzas" and "finding new things to put in ramen."

Pretty much!

But a toaster would be the best pet! It's the only pet you can get where you feed it food, and what comes back out is still food! |
