If you really want perfect balance, you may add a Nietzsche book. |
How about we just not burn ANY books or texts? When has that ever been an appropriate response to anything? |

Qué? |
That's actually not far off. Mao had a cult built around his story and personality. |
But it's not a religion. There's a huge difference. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

Well, there is the threat of freezing to death. It's an appropriate response to that. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

Certainly is! Muslims HATE the cold; it's why they're centered in all those hot countries, and not in, say, Russia, or Greenland.
Related, and unfortunate: I wanted a chart showing the population density of Muslims around the globe, so the first thing I googled was "muslims per capita." First page, one of the results was "rapes per capita." That's... unfortunate. _________________ “Yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation”

Good idea ! I suggest Terry Jones goes burn his books in Greenland, where it's really needed. Far North. He could maybe even convert some Eskimos:
"Where does this warm come from ?
-Koran.
-Allah etc !" |

oh, poor fred phelps - he must have been so annoyed at having someone else take over the "lunatic fundamentalist pastor" role on the nightly news. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Instead of a bucket brigade, I suggest counter protester showing up with BIG black boards so they could screen off any possible coverage. A literal showing of the people telling the crazies to shut up and all that.
Anyway, I hope the media has realized that the WBC is just pointless to cover because they haven't done anything new. One can hope, right? _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

It seems like coverage has certainly tapered off, until they find some crazy new and appalling thing thing to protest. Lately it seems the counter-protests get the real coverage, like at comic-con and when they protested twitter. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth.
