Tell me about those.
It's all a bit complicated and frightening to me. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

Not as frightening as the apparently bucktoothed emoticon you just used. Shit man. It's dark here. _________________

Its pretty simple really, every 2 to 4 years, the u.s. undergoes a mass amnesia where we forget who exactly started off the problems we elected their counterparts to fix. Furious that they did not fix in 2 years a situation that took a decade to develop, the aforementioned amnesia sets in and we re-elect the party that caused all the problems we're angry about in the first place. _________________

| oh, don't worry. the gloating will be nauseating, but watching McConnell and Boehner try to twist into the impossible contortions the teabaggers demand, and watching the teabaggers' hearts shatter as their darlings get corrupted by Washington, and watching the new Republican leadership down a Vicodin every time Rand Paul steps up to the podium in the Senate, is gonna be fun. |

| Elections are part of our democracy, you wouldn't understand. Coming as you do from a Socialist regime. Nothing personal. |

So, I'm wondering. The losses for the Democrats. Which of the democrats are losing their seats? The "good" ones or the Blue Dogs? Or just everybody? _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

I favor the Poli Sci view, whereby all election outcomes are preordained by the economy, the only question is how bad will it be.
So far, it could be worse. Dems lose the house, of course, but it could still be worse. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

It's not quite that simple, but it will mostly be the more conservative Dems losing out.
But the only bad dem who might lose is Harry Reid (god, how I hate him) _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

Say what you want about how about how bad Harry Reid is, it's still important that the person replacing him is demonstrably (oh boy is this going to get me in trouble ) insane. _________________ There is a luxury to self-reproach.

on the other hand, if her party is still in the minority, all she'll really be doing is embarrassing the GOP for six years and getting Mitch McConnell addicted to painkillers.
EDIT: and in the fantasy world i have created where the Democrats are actually competent at playing politics, she would be the face of the GOP for the next six years, as famous as Sarah Palin is today, and every batshit crazy burp and giggle she emits like swamp gas would be broadcast all over the nation, so that all would know that Sharon Angle is the GOP and the GOP is Sharon Angle.

And then it's only a matter of months until he's sending pictures of his penis to Jenn Sterger. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

Given how hard it was to get what lukewarm progress was made, I can't imagine the next two years being anything but suicide-inducing frustration for Obama. _________________ There is a luxury to self-reproach. |
