So as typical, my kids want, among other things, a bunch of stuff that used to be popular but no longer is AND they still believe in Santa so there was A LOT of time spent on ebay trying to get Megaman NT Warrior stuff.
I got my wife these slippers she's wanted (she doesn't buy stuff for herself) and a bunch of tankobon volumes she's behind on (which again, she won't buy for herself). She's getting me Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening for 360 but I'm trying to act like I don't know about. _________________

My girlfriend wanted to make each other presents this year. She loves cute, and is obsessed by rabbits, so I made her these:

Uh, that picture makes them look huge. They're tiny, about 2 inches high :p _________________ Ironically, Halen's one of the few people here I wouldn't worry about terrifying my friends and family. for a second i thought those were bunny slippers, and i was in total awe of your sewing ability.
i mean, they are still really cute and you are really talented and all, but i am feeling a tad let down that you do not, in fact, possess preternatural skill with needle and thread.
i finished the sweater i was making my brother on friday night, washed it saturday am and set it out to block...and it's been raining ever since and the sweater _still_ isn't dry. even threw it in the drier for a while this am, which helped, but i think there are still damp bits. and i still need to take some pictures and wrap it up! drat you, rain! _________________ aka: neverscared! |

I bought an ornament kit for doing handprint molds. So I used my daughter's handprint to make ornaments for all the grandparents (one for us too) for Christmas. They turned out cute with a lil pink ribbon through a hole I made with a straw. _________________ Eureka00: "Reminding you of your addictions" since 1982.

I'm poor so my sister and I are just "making" something dorky for each other and calling it even. I've decided to paint her a watercolor, but I need to decide tonight on a subject matter.
I'm thinking either basing it off one of the pictures she took while she was in France (the "nice" option), or doing something a little more "fun," like a unicorn with rainbows coming out its butt, throwing up glitter.
Suggestions welcome. _________________ All our final decisions are made in a state of mind that is not going to last. - Marky Mark Proust |

I think that's backwards. Otherwise I'd go with that. |
