I watched fireworks in trafalgar square on the stroke of midnight with a german an indian and a chinese lady. And several thousand other people. Then we walked home, at one point someone climbed a lamppost. Happy new year everyone! _________________ Ironically, Halen's one of the few people here I wouldn't worry about terrifying my friends and family. In my head he ends every real life conversation stroking his chin and saying, "well yes, that sounds reasonable." |

I've spent my NYE with a bunch of Australians. While the cultural distance isn't that large, geographically you can hardly get further. The most fun part was when the poor Aussies tried to outdrink us Poles, the inventors of vodka Poor poor fellows, the hangover must've been of biblical proportions... |
