I think the difference is this:
They wanted the Iranian regime to fall even before the riots, but they kept the Egyptian regime in power before these riots. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

I sure hope this doesn't mean that they'll have to redraw the maps anytime soon.
Or maybe I do. |

So Mubarak shuffles around those below him, while he keeps most, if not all power within his hand. The military looks like it's siding with the people. And the U.S., as far as I can see, is in a "damned if we do, damned if we don't" situation for Egypt.
And yet through all of this, I can't say I'm not excited to see this happening. |

There's something divinely ironic about first aid instructions being on the canister as well. _________________

What's kind of amusing is that everywhere in the UK right now there's a massive ad campaign for holidays in Egypt. Massive posters, great big long adverts. I'm quite tempted, I bet the prices are dropping like a stone. _________________ Ironically, Halen's one of the few people here I wouldn't worry about terrifying my friends and family. Seriously, I was just going there to have a vacation and look at the Pyramids.
Also the border to Palestine was open for a day or too, will most likely be again. The Israeli government must be pretty on edge now.
And on that, the bitter irony of the U.S demanding "reforms" from Mubarak after having no problem backing him up for years ought to escape no one. It is only rivaled by the Iranian regime demanding that Mubarak respects the Egyptian masses demands for justice and freedom. _________________ "Moderation in temper, is always a virtue; but moderation in principle, is a species of vice.
