if you're going to get into the mechanics of it, even if they did blush you wouldn't be able to see it through their coats
unless they are hairless marshmallow ponies, as some have theorized
although some fanart features what appears to to be uncovered folds of skin
maybe these ponies are to horses what we are to chimps
